Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a multi-layered security architecture to protect corporate assets against evolving cyber threats.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in systems and networks.
- Manage and monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to detect and respond to real-time security incidents.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external law enforcement when necessary to minimize downtime.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security best practices into the DevOps pipeline (DevSecOps).
- Provide security training and awareness programs for employees to foster a culture of security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on network security and threat analysis.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of security frameworks, protocols (TLS, SSH), and common attack vectors (OWASP Top 10).
- Proficiency with security tools including Firewalls (Check Point, Palo Alto), IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar).
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation and incident response.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
