As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you'll design, implement, and monitor advanced security measures to defend against evolving cyber threats. This role offers direct impact on enterprise security strategy and hands-on experience with industry-leading tools.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust network security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for critical systems
- Lead incident response activities including threat hunting and forensic analysis
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement security in CI/CD pipelines
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend defensive countermeasures
- Document security policies, procedures, and technical specifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on network and cloud security
- CISSP, CEH, or CISA certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and common attack vectors
- Experience with security automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (if applicable)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
