Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
- Design and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards across the organization.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches and mitigate threats effectively.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Manage firewall configurations and network security architecture.
- Stay current on emerging threats and industry best practices to ensure proactive defense.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for on-site security audits.
