In this role, you will architect and manage enterprise-wide security solutions, protect sensitive data, and lead incident response efforts. We are relocating our NY operations to Austin, TX, and we are offering a comprehensive relocation package to the top candidates.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures to protect the organization from cyber threats.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SIEM environment (Splunk/Sentinel).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to ensure compliance.
- Manage firewall rules, VPN configurations, and access controls (IAM) to enforce the principle of least privilege.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to secure cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and on-premise systems.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, encryption, and authentication mechanisms.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Experience with incident response and forensics.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance (if applicable).
