Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust network security frameworks across hybrid environments
- Lead incident response for critical security breaches (SOC Level 3 operations)
- Conduct advanced penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Develop zero-trust security architectures and cloud security postures
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
- Collaborate with CISO on strategic security roadmaps
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and NYDFS regulations
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ in senior/architect roles
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or OSCP with active SANS GIAC credentials
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security, Palo Alto Networks, and CrowdStrike
- Proven experience in incident response (DFIR) and threat hunting
- Strong background in secure coding (Python/Go) and cloud-native security
