Role Overview

Responsibilities
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security breaches and cyber-attacks.
- Threat Detection: Monitor security alerts and anomalies using SIEM tools to identify potential threats.
- Security Architecture: Design and deploy robust security solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Security Awareness: Train and educate staff on security best practices and emerging threats.
Qualifications
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or similar advanced cybersecurity certification is required.
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSI), encryption, and secure coding practices.
- Tools: Proficiency with SIEM (Splunk, LogRhythm), SOAR platforms, and endpoint protection tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
