Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SIEM environment in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and execute tabletop exercises to ensure team readiness.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or GIAC GSEC certification is highly required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and common attack vectors.
- Proficiency in security tools (e.g., Splunk, FireEye, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
