Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade security architectures aligned with NIST 800-53 standards
- Lead incident response operations for complex cyber attacks (ransomware, APTs)
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on cloud/on-prem systems
- Develop SIEM correlation rules and automate threat detection workflows
- Mentor junior security analysts and conduct technical training sessions
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Present security posture reports to CISOs and executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with 3+ years in incident response
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (GCIH/GCS preferred)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain immediately
- Experience with zero-trust architecture implementation
