Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security controls for cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
- Mentor junior security engineers and document security procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related roles
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network security principles
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CEH required; CCSP preferred
- Proficiency in security tools: Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong scripting abilities (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
