As a critical member of our security operations center (SOC), you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, securing our cloud infrastructure, and leading incident response efforts. Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents in real-time using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and code reviews to identify potential risks.
- Design and implement robust security architectures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Lead tabletop exercises and security awareness training for internal stakeholders.
- Investigate root causes of security breaches and recommend remediation strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network engineering, or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, SSCP, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for security automation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for on-site security audits.
