Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for security breaches including forensic analysis and containment
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop and maintain zero-trust architecture solutions for on-premises and cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security post-attack
- Create executive-level security dashboards and compliance reports
- Mentor junior security engineers and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in enterprise cybersecurity with 3+ years in SOC or IR roles
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or OSCP with active security clearance preferred
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-pressure security incidents
