Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust enterprise security architecture across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Lead incident response efforts for complex security breaches and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct rigorous vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses before malicious actors do.
- Manage and monitor SIEM tools to detect anomalies and ensure compliance with industry standards (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Develop and conduct security awareness training programs for staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent advanced certification required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, incident response, or threat hunting.
- Deep knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation and log analysis.
