Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security frameworks for cloud/on-premise infrastructure
- Lead incident response protocols and threat mitigation activities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Develop security automation tools using Python/PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
- Mentor junior engineers on emerging threats and defense techniques
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in engineering roles
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Experience with AWS/Azure security services and container security
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and attack vectors
- Proven track record in threat hunting and forensic analysis
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
