Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level security architectures using cloud-native and hybrid solutions
- Lead incident response for advanced persistent threats (APTs) and zero-day vulnerabilities
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across AWS/Azure environments
- Develop automation scripts using Python/Ansible for security orchestration
- Maintain compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2)
- Mentor junior engineers through security code reviews and architecture planning
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years experience in cybersecurity with 3+ in cloud environments
- Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, or OSCP (required)
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)
- Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and IaC tools
- Strong understanding of threat modeling frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (sponsorship provided)
