Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level security architectures including zero-trust frameworks and cloud security solutions
- Lead incident response for sophisticated cyber threats using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid environments
- Develop security automation scripts using Python/Ansible for threat detection and mitigation
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers and establish security best practices across the organization
- Stay current with emerging threats and regulatory requirements (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on network and cloud security
- CISSP, CEH, or CISM certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and container security (Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Experience with SIEM implementation and threat hunting methodologies
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and security automation tools
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to document complex security procedures
- BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
