Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust network security architectures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN systems
- Lead incident response investigations for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Create comprehensive security documentation and compliance reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on network security and threat detection
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container security
- Hands-on experience with security tools: Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, Kenna Security
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (NIST, GDPR, HIPAA)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation frameworks
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to document complex security procedures
