Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust cybersecurity architecture to protect against evolving threats.
- Lead incident response investigations, performing threat hunting and forensic analysis to mitigate breaches.
- Oversee Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions, tuning alerts and correlating data for proactive defense.
- Conduct regular penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and red team operations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) into the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 4 years in a senior engineering or architectural role.
- Active certification such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GCIH is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Bash scripting for automation and security tooling.
- Deep knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP), firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and container security (Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
