Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level security architectures across cloud/on-premises environments
- Lead incident response protocols and conduct forensic investigations
- Manage SIEM platforms and develop threat detection strategies
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry standards
- Mentor junior security engineers and develop security training programs
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering with hands-on threat mitigation experience
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or OSCP required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security and cloud-native architectures
- Proven experience with Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, or Splunk technologies
- Strong background in zero-trust network design implementation
- Experience developing security automation with Python/Ansible
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
