As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC) team, you will be responsible for designing robust security architectures and responding to complex incidents. We are looking for a visionary leader who is passionate about cybersecurity and committed to maintaining the highest standards of data protection.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools like Splunk and Snowflake.
- Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses in our systems before malicious actors do.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with legal and IT teams to mitigate breaches and restore system integrity.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to staff across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are strongly required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related role.
- Proven experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong scripting and automation skills in Python or Bash.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
