Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust network security frameworks including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms
- Lead incident response for sophisticated cyber threats using SIEM tools like Splunk and QRadar
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Develop automation scripts for security monitoring and threat hunting using Python/PowerShell
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives across business units
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry standards (NIST, CIS)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with 2+ years in cloud security architecture
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in network security (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto) and cloud security (AWS WAF, Azure Sentinel)
- Proficiency in security automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (SOX, GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with threat hunting and malware analysis
