Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead incident response efforts during security breaches, ensuring rapid containment and recovery.
- Manage and configure firewalls and network security appliances.
- Develop and enforce security policies and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security controls into the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Certification: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
- Experience with SOC operations and threat hunting methodologies.
