Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage robust security architectures to protect cloud and on-premise systems
- Lead incident response investigations and forensic analysis for security breaches
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python/Ansible
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of enterprise applications
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Document security policies, procedures, and technical specifications
- Mentor junior engineers on security best practices and emerging threats
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and incident response
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs) and cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and security automation tools
- Hands-on experience with SIEM implementation and threat hunting
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
