Responsibilities
- Threat Detection & Response: Monitor security alerts and incidents across the network, utilizing SIEM tools to identify and neutralize threats in real-time.
- Security Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain robust security frameworks and protocols to protect organizational assets.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis to identify potential weaknesses in systems.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Incident Forensics: Lead post-incident investigations, root cause analysis, and documentation to improve future defenses.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior security analysts and collaborate with IT operations to integrate security best practices into daily workflows.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security analysis.
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent security certification is highly required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack), firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Programming: Solid understanding of scripting and programming (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation and security tooling.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
