Responsibilities
- Lead and direct the incident response team during security breaches and cyberattacks.
- Design, implement, and maintain complex security architectures for on-premise and cloud environments.
- Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks.
- Monitor security systems and analyze alerts to detect and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Develop and enforce security policies and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or network security engineering.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of threat intelligence, risk management, and security operations centers (SOC).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS).
- Strong understanding of network protocols and cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
