Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade security architectures across cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response operations for critical security breaches (24/7 on-call rotation)
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for high-profile clients
- Develop automation scripts for security monitoring using SIEM tools (Splunk/Symantec)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 frameworks
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness programs
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in engineering/architecture roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or OSCP (required)
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and container security (Kubernetes)
- Hands-on experience with threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Proven track record of designing zero-trust architectures
- Experience with GDPR/HIPAA compliance frameworks
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations during security incidents
