Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced security architectures to protect organizational assets.
- Lead threat hunting initiatives and conduct complex forensic investigations to identify vulnerabilities.
- Oversee incident response plans, coordinating with internal teams and external law enforcement when necessary.
- Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on internal and external systems.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Monitor security telemetry and automate responses using SIEM and SOAR technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, information security, or network security.
- Active certification such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CISA is highly required.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Strong understanding of cryptography, PKI, and secure coding practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
