Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms like Splunk and QRadar
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across complex network infrastructures
- Develop incident response playbooks and lead security breach mitigation efforts
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security protocols into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using MITRE ATT&CK framework methodologies
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
- Mentor junior security analysts and conduct regular security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise cybersecurity roles
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Proficiency in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Expert knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (e.g., Recorded Future, CrowdStrike)
- Strong background in secure coding practices and application security
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance if required
