Responsibilities
- Architect and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms
- Lead incident response for zero-day vulnerabilities and APT attacks
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments of cloud infrastructure
- Develop security automation using Python and PowerShell
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
- Mentor junior security engineers through threat hunting workshops
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in SOC/IR roles
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or OSCP required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and network protocols
- Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto)
- Experience with container security (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Strong background in incident documentation and forensic analysis
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
