Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security frameworks for cloud infrastructure and on-premise systems
- Lead incident response operations including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and mitigation strategies
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments and penetration testing for high-profile clients
- Develop and maintain security automation tools using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives across the organization
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices through continuous research
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network defense
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required (additional certifications a plus)
- Expertise in SIEM implementation (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Strong programming skills in Python and scripting languages for security automation
- Experience with container security (Kubernetes, Docker) and infrastructure as code
- Proven track record leading incident response for complex security events
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred (or ability to obtain)
