Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level security architectures across cloud/on-prem environments
- Lead incident response protocols for complex cyber threats (ransomware, APTs)
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments using tools like Burp Suite and Metasploit
- Develop automation scripts for security monitoring (SIEM tuning, SOAR)
- Mentor junior engineers and establish security best practices
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in architecture/leadership roles
- Certified CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent (e.g., CCSP, CISM)
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security and zero-trust frameworks
- Hands-on experience with NIST 800-53 compliance
- Strong Python/Go scripting for security automation
- Proven track record of incident response leadership
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
