Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in network infrastructure.
- Lead incident response efforts, including forensic analysis and post-incident reporting.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA, ISO 27001) across all departments.
- Manage and secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and containerized applications.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
- Provide security training and awareness programs for employees to reduce human error.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network architecture.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation.
- Strong understanding of cloud security models and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders.
