Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools like Splunk and QRadar.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices and secure network architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
