Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and configure firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and security appliances.
- Investigate suspicious network traffic and conduct forensic analysis of security breaches.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (SOC 2, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure architecture implementation across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Proficiency with security tools (Splunk, FireEye, Snort, etc.) and scripting languages (Python/Bash).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during security incidents.
