Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify, analyze, and respond to computer security breaches and intrusions.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks.
- Implement and manage security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Investigate security incidents, root cause analysis, and ensure business continuity.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the security of all systems and data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and incident response procedures.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or NIST.
