Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events from SIEM platforms during the weekend shift.
- Conduct incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Generate and present weekly security reports to stakeholders and management.
- Conduct security awareness training for non-technical staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or network security.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
- Proficiency in security tools (Splunk, FireEye, Sentinel, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts.
