Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events via SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel, or QRadar) during the weekend shift.
- Conduct triage, investigation, and remediation of security incidents to minimize downtime.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and patch management for critical systems outside of standard business hours.
- Generate and analyze security reports to identify trends and potential threats for Monday briefing.
- Collaborate with the on-call team during handover periods to ensure continuous coverage.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Cybersecurity or Network Security.
- Experience working in a Shift-based or 24/7 SOC environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Familiarity with security tools such as Splunk, FireEye, Snort, or similar.
- Active Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+) are a major plus.
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions with limited supervision during off-hours.
