The Role:
You will be responsible for monitoring security alerts, conducting forensic investigations, and responding to incidents that occur during the weekend. Your expertise will ensure zero downtime for our clients and the highest level of data protection.
Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems for anomalies and threats during weekend shifts.
- Conduct forensic investigations and root cause analysis for security breaches and incidents.
- Execute vulnerability assessments and coordinate timely patch management for identified vulnerabilities.
- Manage firewall rules and network security configurations to prevent unauthorized access.
- Generate and maintain detailed incident reports and security dashboards for management review.
- Collaborate with the SOC team to refine detection rules and playbooks.
- Perform security audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to industry standards (NIST, ISO).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Active certification such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC is highly preferred.
- Proven experience working in a 24/7 operations center or weekend shift environment.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and team coordination.
