We protect the critical infrastructure supporting high-volume equity options trading, ensuring market integrity and data security 24/7.
In this pivotal role, you will act as the first line of defense during off-hours, monitoring security events, responding to incidents, and ensuring the continuous availability of our trading platforms. You will work closely with our central security operations center to maintain compliance with FINRA and NASD regulations while defending against sophisticated cyber threats targeting financial markets.

Responsibilities
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) alerts and dashboards specifically for trading platform anomalies and equity options infrastructure breaches during the weekend shift.
- Conduct thorough incident response and forensic analysis for security breaches, malware infections, and unauthorized access attempts occurring outside of standard business hours.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on financial trading applications and network segments.
- Manage patch management processes for critical trading systems to ensure zero-day vulnerabilities are mitigated promptly.
- Document security incidents, create detailed reports for management and regulatory bodies, and participate in post-incident reviews.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure high availability and disaster recovery protocols are maintained for all equity options services.
- Enforce security policies and access controls, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, preferably within the Financial Services or Equity Options trading sector.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Proven experience working in a 24/7 monitoring environment or weekend shift role.
- Strong knowledge of network security, SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel), and endpoint protection (e.g., CrowdStrike, Defender).
- Familiarity with financial trading systems, market data feeds, and compliance frameworks (FINRA, SEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure during critical security events.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
