Responsibilities
- Weekend Monitoring: Monitor security systems, logs, and alerts for the Enterprise Equity Options platform during low-traffic hours to identify anomalies.
- Threat Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security incidents occurring outside of standard business hours.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on weekend schedules to ensure system integrity.
- Compliance Reporting: Generate detailed security reports for regulatory compliance (SOC2, HIPAA) and executive briefings.
- Incident Analysis: Analyze root causes of security breaches to prevent recurrence.
- Tool Optimization: Fine-tune SIEM rules and detection logic during the weekend to improve automated threat hunting.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with specific experience in Financial Services or Equity Options trading systems.
- Shift: Must be available to work Weekend Shifts (e.g., Friday 6:00 PM - Monday 6:00 AM or rotating weekends).
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting for automation.
- Tools: Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions.
