Responsibilities
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) alerts and events during the weekend shift.
- Conduct thorough incident investigation, triage, and response to security breaches.
- Perform daily vulnerability assessments and patch management reviews.
- Analyze threat intelligence reports to identify potential risks and attack vectors.
- Collaborate with the on-call team during critical incidents.
- Generate and maintain detailed security logs and reports for compliance auditing.
- Conduct security awareness training sessions for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certification: CISSP, CEH, or GCIH is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM technologies.
- Proven experience in incident response and forensics.
- Ability to work independently during the weekend shift with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- BS in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
