Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM platforms to detect and respond to cyber threats in real-time
- Conduct incident investigations, including root cause analysis and containment procedures
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems and applications
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance security architecture and compliance frameworks
- Document security incidents, remediation actions, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies through continuous research
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on security operations or incident response
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption technologies
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight) and threat intelligence platforms
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, CompTIA Security+) required
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks during weekend shifts
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure
