Responsibilities
- Threat Monitoring & Response: Monitor 24/7 SIEM alerts and security events during the weekend shift to detect and neutralize threats in real-time.
- Incident Triage: Lead the initial triage and containment of security incidents, ensuring minimal downtime for trading operations.
- Compliance Audits: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing specifically focused on our equity options trading engines.
- Log Analysis: Analyze network traffic and user behavior to identify anomalies and potential insider threats.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed incident reports and update playbooks for future security scenarios.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or Threat Intelligence, preferably within the Financial Services or Equity Options sector.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), Firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto), and Endpoint Protection (CrowdStrike).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present technical findings to senior leadership.
- Location: Must be authorized to work in the USA and willing to commute to Charlotte, NC or work remotely from Florida.
