Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events within the SIEM platform.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices to mitigate risk.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches and coordinate with legal and compliance teams.
- Perform regular audits to ensure adherence to industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST).
- Manage access controls and authentication protocols for remote and on-premise users.
- Provide security awareness training to employees across the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or equivalent is required.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or network security.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), Firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto), and endpoint protection.
- Remote Work: Proven ability to work effectively in a distributed, remote-first team environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Tools: Experience with automation (Python/Bash) is a plus.
