Responsibilities
- Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify weaknesses in our systems.
- Develop and implement robust incident response plans to mitigate security breaches and restore system integrity.
- Enforce strict security policies and protocols across cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and on-premise networks.
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Manage compliance requirements, including SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Network Security, or Information Security.
- Holder of a CISSP, CISA, CEH, or similar advanced certification is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Proven experience with cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
