Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive security frameworks and protocols.
- Monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with cross-functional teams to mitigate breaches and recover operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as SOC2, HIPAA, and NIST.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Provide security training and guidance to staff members to foster a security-first culture.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network administration.
- Certification is highly preferred: CISSP, CEH, CISM, Security+, or GCIH.
- Deep knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Strong proficiency with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation and threat hunting.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance (if required).
