Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage incident response plans and coordinate with cross-functional teams during security breaches.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Provide security training and awareness to employees to reduce human error risks.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure cloud architecture implementation (AWS/Azure).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or a related IT role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are strongly preferred.
- Experience with incident response and digital forensics.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid or remote environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
