Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with NIST and ISO frameworks.
- Lead incident response efforts during cyber-attacks to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Provide security awareness training to employees to reduce human error and social engineering risks.
Qualifications
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification is required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat detection and incident response.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Bash scripting for security automation.
- Deep understanding of cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with firewall management, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
