Responsibilities
- Architect and implement advanced threat detection systems across hybrid infrastructure
- Lead incident response for critical security breaches with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for enterprise clients
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and Ansible
- Maintain compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and NYDFS regulations
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to security awareness training
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement security-by-design principles
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with proven incident response experience
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or OSCP (or equivalent)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Strong programming skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
- Experience with threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Knowledge of NYDFS Part 500 cybersecurity regulations
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
