Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events in real-time to detect and respond to potential threats.
- Lead incident response investigations and manage the lifecycle of security breaches from identification to remediation.
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent advanced certification.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network security.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, and CISA guidelines.
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar) and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
