What You Will Do:
As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you will be at the forefront of defending our organization against sophisticated cyber threats. You will leverage advanced tools to monitor network traffic, investigate anomalies, and respond to incidents with speed and precision.
Responsibilities
- Threat Monitoring & Response: Analyze security alerts from SIEM tools (Splunk/Sentinel) and conduct timely investigations to mitigate risks.
- Incident Management: Lead the incident response process, from detection to containment and recovery, minimizing downtime.
- Vulnerability Management: Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Security Hardening: Implement and maintain firewall rules, access controls, and security policies.
- Security Awareness Training: Assist in developing training programs to educate employees on security best practices.
Qualifications
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CCNA Security preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a SOC or Security Analyst role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting is a plus.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of network protocols, Windows/Linux environments, and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
